Information you give us directly

This includes your name, email, style preferences, body measurements, purchase history, loyalty membership numbers, virtual try-on images, feedback signals, and contact preferences.

Our purposes include

Account creation, personalised style recommendations, customer support, marketing (with consent), security and fraud prevention, analytics, and legal compliance.

Legal grounds we rely on

Consent, performance of contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligation — applied per your jurisdiction (GDPR, PIPEDA, PDPA).

Examples include

Stripe (payments), AWS (hosting), Anthropic/OpenAI (AI features), Sentry (error tracking), Google Maps, and brand partners (aggregated insights only). We never sell your data.

How we use cookies

Cookies, web beacons, and pixels for session security, preference saving, analytics, and advertising where applicable. Third-party providers may also place trackers.

Your inputs are shared with these providers under data processing agreements to power identity profiling, Mood Jam, and personalised recommendations.

Countries we transfer to

Singapore, Ireland, and the United States. EEA/UK transfers use European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses. Singapore transfers use PDPC Model Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods at a glance

Active account data retained while your account is active or as required by law. On deletion, data is purged from active systems and residual backups deleted on the next scheduled purge.

Security measures we use

TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, Sentry and CloudWatch monitoring, regular security reviews, and Stripe for PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing.

Age restriction: 18+

WearMAInd is for users aged 18 and older. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact privacy@wearmaind.ai and we will take immediate steps to delete it.

Rights you may have

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions. Submit a DSAR or email privacy@wearmaind.ai.

Why we don’t respond to DNT

No uniform industry standard exists for DNT signals. California law requires us to disclose this. We will update this Policy if a standard is adopted.

CCPA and US state rights

Rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain portable data, non-discrimination, and opt out of targeted advertising. California ‘Shine the Light’ law also applies.

What counts as zero-party data

Style preferences, size and fit details, occasion data, cultural influences, location preferences, product feedback, keep/return signals, and taste indicators.

How insights are shared

Insights may be shared with or licensed to brand partners in aggregate form only. No personal data that could identify you is ever transferred to any brand partner.

What profiling means here

Style profiles and segments are used only to personalise WearMAInd recommendations, not to enable third-party brands to directly identify or target you.

Image data processed in real time

Body measurement estimates and image data are used solely to render the try-on experience. Not stored beyond your session unless you explicitly save it. Never shared with third parties.

Loyalty identifiers and checkout

Stored with your express consent solely for seamless checkout. Disclosed to the relevant brand only at the point of purchase. Not used for any other purpose without your further consent.

Specific retention periods

How we notify you of changes

The ‘Last updated’ date reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we post a prominent notice on our platform or email you directly.
